Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Fresh Patisserie in Long Island City gave me an experience I’ll never forget. The night before Valentine’s Day—when every store is overwhelmed and most would simply turn you away—they went above and beyond in a way I’ve never experienced anywhere else. From the moment I walked in, the staff in the pastry section treated me with genuine care. Even though I hadn’t placed my usual pre-order, they didn’t hesitate for a second to help me put together a beautiful box of chocolate-covered strawberries. The gentleman behind the counter crafted a custom box that looked like it had been planned for weeks. He decorated each strawberry with such attention and creativity that it felt truly one-of-a-kind. There were special roses reserved for online orders only, but they made an exception just to make sure the gift for my wife was perfect. As I was getting ready to leave, I noticed balloons—even though the market was minutes from closing and everything had already been put away. The manager himself stepped in, helping me choose from what was left, and even went all the way to the basement with another staff member to get strings so nothing was missing. They didn’t rush me, didn’t cut corners,

Fresh Patisserie has my heart. The desserts are stunning and perfectly balanced—and the portions are just right, indulgent without being overwhelming. But it’s the little things that truly move me: the beautiful packaging, the thoughtful details, the care you feel before you even take a bite. Those touches mean more than I can explain and turn a simple dessert into something genuinely special. Every visit feels like a gift. ✨🍰💗

Love their packaging when ordering online from them. Their spinach pie is the best. Lemon cake piece wasn’t good so we couldn’t finish it. Love their cake pop however i wish if their pictures on grubhub matches the actual food. UPDATE: Very disappointed because their spinach pie used to be my favourite, it tasted horrible and embarrassed me because i brought another one for my mom. TERRIBLE!!! Threw them in trash they tasted so nasty

I would no suggest this place for desserts. I ordered a 4 inches cake which looked smaller than my hand, and it was not even good. It was overpriced, it costed almost $30 us! That’s a half cake price at others bakeries shops and almost a whole cake in Costco or BJ’s! I ordered the mocha one. I cut a little slice and the frosting stayed on my hands, I had to use dishwasher soup and wash my hands twice because it was worse than some bad moisturizer. If you still want to try this place, take a fork or a napkin and I wish you have better luck than me with this place! 🍀
